講座題目：香港理工大學(xué)振動噪聲研究綜述

摘要：機械工程系作為八十年前成立的香港理工大學(xué)(PolyU)創(chuàng)始院系之一，一直以來積極從事基礎(chǔ)和應(yīng)用研究以推動知識前沿發(fā)展，為香港及周邊地區(qū)乃至世界服務(wù)。目前，機械工程系是香港理工大學(xué)科研最活躍的院系之一。在多個與香港及其它地區(qū)密切相關(guān)的研究領(lǐng)域都有出色表現(xiàn)。機械系的研究重點主要集中在大學(xué)學(xué)術(shù)生態(tài)區(qū)計劃組成的三個研究中心和會社管理下的四個專業(yè)方向。作為三個中心會社之一的聲與振動研究會社(CSVR)在該領(lǐng)域從事包括振動噪聲控制、結(jié)構(gòu)健康監(jiān)測和流固耦合方面課題廣泛的研究。本次講座將集中討論在CSVR開展的幾個主要課題，讓聽眾對CSVR及其科研活動有一個概括性的了解。同時介紹在在開展的這些科研活動相關(guān)的一些挑戰(zhàn)和機會.

Abstract：As one of the founding departments in the Hong Kong Polytechnic University (PolyU) almost eighty years ago, the Department of Mechanical Engineering (ME) has been actively involved in both fundamental and applied research to push the frontier of knowledge ahead in order to serve Hong Kong, its surrounding region and the word. Nowadays, ME is one of the most research-active departments on the campus and excels in a number of research areas that are germane to Hong Kong and beyond. The research foci of the department are in four major areas of expertise and operated under three Research Centres and a Research Consortium under the University Niche Area scheme. As one of its constituents, the Consortium for Sound and Vibration Research (CSVR) carries out research in a wide spectrum of research topics, ranging from vibration and noise control, structural health monitoring and fluid-structure interactions. This talk will focus on a number of key research topics that are being carried out in CSVR to give the audience an overview of the CSVR and its research activities. Challenges and opportunities related to these on-going research activities will be discussed.

主講人簡介

成利教授現(xiàn)為香港理工大學(xué)機械工程首席教授、聲與振動研究會社主任。1984年畢業(yè)于西安交通大學(xué)，1989年獲法國國立應(yīng)用科學(xué)學(xué)院博士學(xué)位，1989年在加拿大謝布克大學(xué)從事博士后研究，1992年在加拿大拉瓦爾大學(xué)正式開始學(xué)術(shù)生涯，并在十年間由助理教授，副教授升任為終身教授。2000年起開始到香港理工大學(xué)工作并于2005年晉升為首席教授，2011-2014年間兼任機械工程系主任。成利教授在振動噪聲、結(jié)構(gòu)健康監(jiān)測、流固耦合、智能材料與結(jié)構(gòu)、控制等領(lǐng)域皆具有很高的學(xué)術(shù)造詣和影響，發(fā)表了200多篇期刊論文及250余篇會議論文，出版了多本學(xué)術(shù)專著，并擁有6項專利。成教授是美國聲學(xué)學(xué)會、中國聲學(xué)學(xué)會、美國機械工程師學(xué)會、香港工程師學(xué)會，香港聲學(xué)學(xué)會當(dāng)選會士，同時兼任香港理論與應(yīng)用力學(xué)學(xué)會主席，國際聲與振動學(xué)會及國際噪聲控制工程學(xué)會理事?，F(xiàn)擔(dān)任Journal of Sound and Vibration 副主編，Journal of the Acoustical Society of America, Structural Health Monitoring副編, 同時擔(dān)任另外6個SCI期刊編委。成教授多次受邀在美國，英國，法國，中國，日本等地召開的多個行業(yè)最負盛名學(xué)術(shù)會議上做全會/大會主旨（Plenary/keynote）報告。
